Nick Turner has been running his business comprising a small, expert team of craftsmen, for 20 years. Most of his work is across the south of England from London to Cornwall, but larger projects have also been undertaken further away and abroad. Nick lives in Dorset and is married with children. His strengths are the design work and project management, and on a good day he gets into the workshop or onto site installing.

Nick’s designs have featured in a number of high-end design magazines including Country Homes and Interiors, Country Living, and BBC Homes and Antiques (cover page). Articles have been written for a number of similar magazines including House and Garden. Custom-made kitchens have been exported and installed in the Middle East; other one-off pieces have gone out to US clients. Design-only work has been undertaken for further flung projects for local manufacture.

David Watson has mechanical engineering training combined with a huge breadth of furniture and architectural joinery experience which has included design and implementation of shopfits and exhibition stands for leading London retailers as well as furniture for domestic uses. We are lucky to have him in his role as manager of the workshop and the team.

Nigel Heath has responsibility for all the finishes used in the furniture, from high quality polyurethane lacquers to simple primers for furniture to be painted on site. His knowledge of traditional polishing methods combined with his use of modern spray finishes is unparalleled.
